Alternate Reality - Josh Smith

'Alternate Reality', this song is a heartfelt tribute to a close friend who's life on earth was too short. With so many young people suffering through mental health battles everyday, the number of people taking their lives is heartbreaking.

My friend Darragh was an extremely intelligent, hilarious, charismatic person who could light up a room and was always up for a debate. He often talked of becoming an academic, after completing his university degree which he excelled in, studying Politics and International Relations at LSE. He was only 26 years old when he passed away.

Not a day goes by when i don't question what the outcome would have been, if we could re-write the past, 'Is there an alternate reality where your still here with me? '. I wrote this song in the hopes that i can raise awareness for people suffering with mental health, here are some amazing charities you can support that have help my friends grieving family;
